vehicle, the onboard diagnostic system has detected a fault. This fault will
be logged and saved in the vehicle's management system. We specialise in
diagnostic fault finding and use specialist diagnostic equipment for
diagnosing and repairing today's modern cars and vans.
If your vehicle has starting problems, high fuel consumption, idle problems,
high emissions or general running concerns, we can diagnose and repair the
fault.
Woodbourne Garage is extremely capable of
providing full diagnostic checks for both Petrol and Diesel engines. The
technology we use to complete these checks include the Sun Modis (Modular
On-board Diagnostic Information System) which is continually updated for
current and new vehicles as they are introduced. It incorporates a four
channel oscilloscope to enable in depth diagnosis of problems.
We also use a scanner. The very latest scanner in fact - the
VERUS from Snap-On.
Fault codes then provide the initial
information regarding the area of the fault, and On-Board Diagnostics,
using live data and graphing techniques, are able to locate the exact
nature and position of the fault.
